On one hand, I feel horrible that Cadderly's ended up with PTSD thanks to the last book. On the other hand, I'm also incredibly worried that Cadderly is going to turn into another Pontificating Jackass ala Drizzt as the series goes on, because I can only remember the first book.
Also, I would no be surprised if someone breaks into the sealed room, reopens that damn bottle and lets the Chaos Curse loose again. I mean, there is at least one person who wants payback on Cadderly after the first book.
